Process
Jack came to me with a need to brand their business to set it apart from its competitors in the industry. They have been trading for a number of years under a consistent tag across platforms such as Vinted, Ebay and Depop. They requested that I create more consistency, allowing for their brand to be a linked when seen across those different platforms.
Stockroom wanted a logo which was simplistic and elegant without being high fashion, that showed a clear indication to what the business is about. The t-shirt icon was chosen to be a stand alone image that can be recognisable in its simplicity whilst the use of a geometric sans serif font allowed us to achieve the elegance wanted without looking at odds with the logo icon.
Through the market research, I learnt that there was a consistent thread when it came to a lot of peoples first second hand clothing purchase, and this was a flannel shirt. I took the gridded pattern of flannel shirts forward to create flexible and adaptable system that works across all formats and sizes.
